'You will be hearing from my lawyer for this!!!': Entitled mother goes to feline family's open house, refuses to buy the home but demands to purchase their cats for her selfish daughter, homeowners strongly refuse

Happy Sunday, feline fam. As millennials, we can't even dream of buying a house, let alone selling one. But, you know, it happens, and just like with anything else on the internet, you get some crazy stories popping up every once in a while. This hissterical event really has us wondering, "What the heck is wrong with people?" It's been a while since we've reported on a silly Karen story, so get your popcorn because it's about to get good!

While trying to sell their house, one family came to the open house, and while they didn't want to leave with the house, they wanted to leave with something else….their cats! After refusing to buy the home, the entitled mother went to the homeowners and demanded they sell them their cats to sweeten the deal in order to convince them to buy the house. When they still refused, the daughter threw a temper tantrum and caused a whole lot of kitty chaos throughout the whole hissterically ridiculous encounter.   • Who does this? Who honestly tries to buy someone else's pets? This is the crazy part. We wouldn't sell our cats for any amount of money. A supervillain could come up to us and say “We're going to destroy the whole world if you don't give us your cats," and you know what we would say? Do it. We dare you. No way in heck you're taking our fur babies from us!

  • This story just keeps getting worse and worse. The real estate agent took the buyers' side? Worst real estate agent ever. Remind us never to work with them. We would have fired them on the spot. This is purrrre craziness!

    gestaltdude People who think pets are property rather than living things in themselves, never make good owners. If, for some bizarre reason, you did sell them, (not suggesting you should have, just thinking hypothetically here), you can bet as soon as the kid got bored of them, the mother would have chucked them out of the house without a minutes thought.

    Klutzy_Newt . OP you said what we were all thinking. She lets her kid run into someone else's house to pick up an animal that is unaccustomed to them and then defends itself out of fear so then the mother screams at you for your pet defending itself.     LdyGreyWind . Word of advice if the Karen tried to sue you just say the child was 1. trespassing trying to take you property such as you sweet baby kitties. Then report their realtor then talk to yours get a statement from them because they witnessed it's all. If she tries to sue you cause her little brat doesn't understand that running up to some cat who barely knows you is a good idea. And that running into a random strangers home is not a good idea.     Thatvideogamenerd Lodge a complaint against their agent. If it was me, I likely would have said "Ok, sure. Their price starts at 100 billion per cat." See how quickly they back off. I do the same thing when people ask me when I am having kids. The subject gets dropped very quickly after that. What me off the most about this, is she had the balls to tell you the kid gets what they want, when they want.
